PaperCarnival makes the tools you need to play games with friends, family or a class. Every one of them is free to use, with no signup, no limits and no watermarks.

What you can make

There are ninety-one tools here, grouped into ten families by the job they do: printables you make and take to the table, pickers that settle whose turn it is, party games with the prompts and the scoring built in, buzzers and votes, trackers for points and positions, timers, tabletop dice, and the daily puzzles in play.

The oldest and best known of them is the bingo card generator: pick a theme, add your own words or use number bingo, and print as many unique cards as you like. Beside it sit 90 ball tickets for housie and tambola. If you know the event rather than the tool, the occasions page starts you from a finished set, and the whole directory is on the tools page.

How it works

There are three steps, and they take under a minute: pick a theme, add your words, then print or download a PDF. A live preview updates as you go, so what you see is exactly what prints. Every card is shuffled to be unique, so no two players share a board, and the same game code reproduces the exact same cards on any device, which makes it easy to share a set with a colleague.

Your words stay on your device

There's no account and no server storing what you make. The words you type, the lists you save, and any names you enter live only in your own browser. Nothing you type is ever sent to us. You can read the details in our privacy policy.

Why it's free

The plan is advertising on article and occasion pages and beside some tools, never on the seven generator pages that hold your lists, and never on your printed output. No advertisement is being shown: Google has not approved the site for advertising, so the pages carry the loader script and nothing renders. That is what is meant to keep everything free, unlimited and watermark-free. There is no paid tier and nothing here is held back for one: every theme, every tool and every download is the whole product.

Playing with more than one phone

You cannot, and that is a decision rather than a gap. Every tool here that involves more than one person runs on the single device in front of you: there are no room codes, no invitations and no accounts, because there is no server behind this site for any of that to run through. The screen is the board. Prop it up where the table can see it, or pass it round the circle and let each person take their turn on it, with a screen in between that hides the last answer where a tool needs one.

The trade is deliberate. Nothing to set up, nothing to explain, nothing to go wrong when the wifi does, and nothing typed into a tool has anywhere to travel to.

Who runs PaperCarnival

PaperCarnival is built and run by Inyonitech Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a small software company based in South Africa. The same company is named in our privacy policy as the operator of this site, and it is the only party behind it: there is no network, no syndication and no third-party content.

Why we built it

Free printables and browser games usually arrive with a catch: an account to make first, a cap on how many pages you can print, or a watermark across the middle of the one you actually wanted. We wanted to see what the same thing looks like when it is made honestly and given away properly, so that the version you get for nothing is the premium one.

These are games we play ourselves. Friends have sat around a table with the printed cards and enjoyed them, and several of them now open the tools on their own, when they are bored and want something to do, or when they need a timer, a name picker or a set of cards in the middle of a school day.
