Decide what you are playing for
Cards are half of it. Before the first call, agree the winning pattern: four corners for a quick warm-up, any line for the standard game, a blackout for the finale. The printable pattern chart draws every common pattern on a card, with how many squares each one takes and how long a round tends to run. Put it on the table and there is nothing to argue about halfway through.
