A children’s birthday party has three gaps in it, and every host knows them: the half hour while guests trickle in, the crash after the cake, and the last twenty minutes when three children are left and the parents are late. This word search covers all three. It hides thirty two party words, from the balloons and the banner through to the pinata, the goody bag, and the photos that will be the only record any of it happened.

What age does it suit?
Roughly seven and up at the default difficulty. For younger parties, switch to the easy setting in the generator, which hides words across and down only.
