Not every winter celebration looks the same, and a good classroom game shouldn’t assume it does. Winter bingo keeps things warm and inclusive with nothing but the season itself: snowflakes and snowmen, mittens and hot cocoa, a cardinal on a branch and the first real snowfall of the year. There’s no holiday to opt into — just winter, and everyone gets to play.

The cards are free to print, forever — no account, no limit, no watermark. Print a few for a family afternoon or a full set for the whole class; a seeded shuffle makes each card unique, so every player has their own board. Hand them out, keep the host call-sheet, and call items as the snow piles up outside.

Little ones do well with a smaller grid and a quick four-corners round, while older kids can chase a full blackout on a snowed-in afternoon. Cotton balls, mini marshmallows, or blue-and-white candies make cheerful markers, and the winner gets first dibs on the cocoa. When you’d like to make it your own, open the generator and add the winter words your group loves best — and, as always, everything you type stays on your device.

Ways to play

Classic line

The first player to mark five squares in a row — across, down, or diagonally — calls "Bingo!" and wins.

Four corners

Mark only the four corner squares. A quick, cheerful round for younger players.

Blackout

Fill the entire card to win — a longer game that's perfect for a snowed-in afternoon.

Postage stamp

Mark any 2×2 block of four squares in one corner. A fast, friendly round.

Questions

Is this a non-religious winter game?+

Yes. Winter bingo uses only seasonal, secular icons — snow, cozy things, and winter animals — so it works for any classroom or group, whatever they celebrate.

Are the cards free to print?+

Completely free, with no account, no card limit, and no watermark. Print as many unique cards as you need.

Is it good for an inclusive classroom?+

That's exactly what it's for. Everyone plays the same friendly winter theme, and you can print a whole class set in one click.

What can students use as markers?+

Mini marshmallows, cotton balls, blue and white candies, or paper squares. Keep the free host call-sheet to track what you've called.

Can I edit the squares?+

Yes. Open the generator, start from this list, and add your own winter words — your changes never leave your device.

What paper sizes and layouts are available?+

US Letter and A4, 1–4 cards per page, plus a large-print option for easy reading.
