The first day of school runs on nervous energy, and nothing settles a new class faster than a game that gives everyone a reason to talk. Back-to-school bingo is a no-prep icebreaker: each square is a “find a classmate who…” prompt — has a pet, plays an instrument, speaks two languages — and students mingle to fill their card with each other’s names.
The cards are free to print, forever — no account, no limit, no watermark. Print a card for every student; a seeded shuffle makes each one unique, so no two children have the same board. Add a “one name per card” rule and they’ll have to meet lots of different people to finish — which is exactly the point on day one.
It works from about second grade up and scales easily: simpler prompts and a smaller grid for younger classes, the full 5×5 for older students or a staff-room icebreaker. When you want prompts tuned to your class or subject, open the generator and write your own — and, because there’s no server, nothing your students write ever leaves the device.
