Where are my decks stored?

In this browser, on this device, and nowhere else. There is no account and no server holding them, which is why they do not follow you to your phone by themselves. Clearing your browser's site data clears them, so export anything you would miss.

Can I share a deck with somebody?

Export it and send them the file. A deck can run to hundreds of cards, which is far too much for a link, and we would need somewhere to keep it to give you a short one. The file is the honest version of sharing when nothing is stored on a server.

Twenty decks, three hundred cards in a deck, and twenty copies of any one card. Those are the sizes a browser holds comfortably and a person can look through. Anything over the line is trimmed rather than refused.

Can I edit a deck after saving it?

Open it from the library and it loads into the builder with its cards in the box. Save again and it replaces the saved copy rather than making a second one. Duplicate first if you want both.

Why your decks live in your browser

A deck of cards you wrote is yours. It might be a class review deck with your pupils' names in it, a set of in-jokes, or a prototype of a game you are designing. None of that needs an account, and none of it needs to sit on somebody else's computer to work.

So it does not. Saving a deck writes it to this browser's own storage, the same place a site keeps whether you wanted the sound on. Nothing is uploaded, there is nothing to sign into, and nobody here can read what you wrote, because it never leaves the device it was typed on.

Once a deck is saved, the draw and discard table is where it gets played, and the shuffler is where it gets dealt into hands.
