One game, two languages. The cards print in Spanish and the host call sheet prints the English, so the caller reads “Dog” and the players hunt for “Perro” on their own board. That single change turns a party game into a vocabulary drill that a class will ask to play again, which is not a sentence anyone writes about a worksheet.
Thirty two everyday pairs are on the list already: animals, food, colors, family and the things in the room. Every card is shuffled from the same pool, so no two players share a board and nobody wins by copying. Print as many as your class needs, free, with no signup and no watermark.
The list is yours to change. Each line is written as the card word, a vertical bar, then the caller’s word, so swapping the two halves swaps which language the players read. It works for any pair of languages, and a line with no bar in it is simply a square that is called exactly as it is written.

Ways to play
Call in English
The caller reads the English word from the call sheet; players find the Spanish word on their card. This is the standard round, and the one that drills recognition.
Call in Spanish
Read the Spanish word instead and let players find it by sight. Gentler, and a good first round for a class that has just met the list.
Say it back
A player who marks a square reads the word aloud before it counts. Slower, noisier, and far better for pronunciation.
Four corners
Mark only the four corner squares. Two to four minutes a round, which suits the last part of a lesson.
Questions
How does the Spanish and English pairing work?
Each square holds a pair, written as the card word, a vertical bar, then the caller's word. The cards print the Spanish word and the host call sheet prints its English partner, so the caller reads one language and the players search in the other. Every PDF ends with that call sheet.
Can I swap the languages round?
Yes. Open the list in the generator and put the English word first on each line, so a line reads "Dog | Perro". The cards then print in English and the call sheet in Spanish.
Can I use my own vocabulary list?
Yes, and this works for any pair of languages, not just these two. Type one pair per line in the generator, with a vertical bar between the two halves. Anything without a bar stays a plain square and is called exactly as it is written.
How many words do I need?
Twenty four for a 5x5 card with a free centre square, and sixteen for a 4x4. This page ships thirty two pairs, so there is room for every card to look different.
